Halifax Speech-Language Pathologists, Vicki Roda, Julie St-Pierre, and Diana James, offer a full range of speech therapy services to children and adults. Dedicated to providing private individualized speech and language therapy in the Halifax and surrounding area since 1994, the Atlantic Clinic for Communication Disorders is conveniently located in Park Lane on Spring Garden Road.   

All comprehensive services including consultation, assessment and treatment programs are administered by a team of nationally certified and experienced Speech-Language Pathologists both on-site in our clinic and off-site in home and community settings.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Julie and Chris welcomed a second son, Joseph a few months ago.  This is a brother for Henry.  Julie will be on leave from the practice but keeps in contact with us on a regular basis.  Diana is busy building up her practice and continues to accept new cases.

The Speech and Hearing Association of Nova Scotia (SHANS) held its first Expo at the Dartmouth Sportsplex on November 5, 2011.  The day began with the Mayor of Halifax, Peter Kelly speaking of his stuttering problem and the help he had received in the past from professionals in our field.  Our clinic, the Atlantic Clinic for Communication Disorders participated sponsoring a table to help support and  showcase to the public and other related professionals what we do as speech-language pathologists.  Through video, brochures for all age groups and disorders and answering questions from those who visited us, we provided information about identification and treatment of speech, language, cognitive, voice,  fluency problems.  Lots of activities were provided for the children and looking forward to next year!  See photos in our Gallery.
